Raffle Night for UTD 13 April

Boys

UTD’s turn at the raffle tonight, 6.30pm if you can make it.

Thanks to Botts, Marty, Snowy Rosie, Floody Simon and myself for attending. A good effort.

Round 4 this weekend: UTD at home at 1pm v’s The Burgh

FC away to Coledale at 1pm.

Two wins at home for the Mighty Greens Round 3.

1pm – UTD v’s Pumas. 2-1 to UTD.  It was a hard game yesterday with flashes of brilliance and flashes of average. Port had 2 periods where they put us under the pump but the defence held well overall. Chris did a great job controlling the nets in his second effort. A gret goal from Snowy with little or no angle from 20m out and A Hob when he put pressure on the defence later in the second half.

3pm – A great win for the FC boys, they pushed the ball around well after a early start by FC almost got them a goal within 30sec’s. Final score 2-1.

Barden Ridge didnt have enough to play and Port havnt confirmed a game, so no game this weekend.

See u at training, next week Port Kembla at home 1pm. Anyone not playing please let me know.

Friendly game this weekend for UTD

Guys:

Unanderra have withdrawn at very late notice, which now gives the comp 9 teams.   So 16 games all up.

Warilla were asked to play this weekend to catch up round 1 as they had a bye anyway, but have declined.

So we are either playing Barden Ridge or Port Pumas as home 2pm whoever gets in first. After the game,

those who can make it are encouraged to cheer on the FC boys with their first hit out of the season which is at Bulli ground 4.30pm kickoff.

There will be another no points friendly in the season so still 4 weekends off as normal.

Change to Season Draw, REGO, Trial game this Sat, Band Night for RFSC Sat Night

Comp now kicks off 31 March round 2 due to issues with 7 fields re mowing, goalposts linemarking etc. Round 1 will be played after round 22.

Dont forget, trial game this Sat 3pm Cawley Park v redbacks. Then following that, Stumpys Band High Octane will be playing for us at the Bowlo 7pm onwards. A good turnup is required please partners very welcome to come along.

REGO is needed ASAP, minimum $100 from all players, remainder to be paid by 1 May. Those not wishing to attend functions or Raffles, are to pay an additional $50.

Rego can be paid tonight to Steve, or to me on Saturday, or electronically, but let me know when it was done with receipt number.
